Job Description

Role overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) in our Symptom Care Clinic! You’ll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to meet the medical and psychosocial needs of our patients, implementing and evaluating standards of care, and participating in vital research to establish outstanding, evidence-based practices. Our Symptom Care Clinics, an extension of the hospital’s urgent care center, specialize in providing top-notch care for oncological medical and surgical patients with acute or urgent symptoms. If you’re passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives and contributing to cutting-edge healthcare, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NY & NJ licenses or willing/eligible to obtain both
  • A minimum of 2 years of related APP experience in Emergency, Critical Care or Intensive Care
  • BLS / ACLS certified

OR

  • Active NY & NJ Advanced Practice Nursing licenses/registrations or willing/eligible to obtain both
  • Nurse Practitioner MS Degree, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of related APP experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Intensive Care
  • BLS / ACLS certified

Additional information:

Hours: Full time hours: 3, 13 hour shifts/week

Location: Cross regional coverage between Westchester NY and Bergen, NJ

This role is not open to new graduate APPs

Pay Range $144,000-182,000
